Nicole R-Robinson

Founder & Director

I founded Her Path to Purpose in 2018 and I have had the honour of overseeing its growth and development ever since. My journey began when I started mentoring young women and organised my very first women’s event in Nottingham. Since then my mission has been to equip and empower young women to lead purposeful lives, helping young women to reach their full potential is what motivates me. I have worked with a wide range of charities, taking me to countries such as Germany, Malawi and Uganda. As a result, I have worked with women from all walks of life and I have seen first hand the issues that many of them face, and I want to do my part to help. I am passionate about investing in girls and young women and supporting them to discover their passion and purpose in life. I believe in equipping and empowering the next generation of women and I value the opportunity to share the skills that I have learnt along the way.

Our Story

I started Her Path to Purpose in 2018 as a direct response to my life experiences. Years of uncertainty about my career left me questioning what real difference I could make in the world. In my early twenties, I knew what I was passionate about, however, I needed support to fine-tune my ideas. I noticed at this point that there just was not enough tailored support for young women at this stage of their lives. This is a huge problem as girls as young as fifteen are expected to make decisions about their future and career, without adequate support and guidance. What began as a one-off event quickly evolved into an annual yearly meet up. As a result, we started connecting with more young women from across the UK. After seeing the positive impact of our work, I knew that I wanted to do this work on a full-time basis, and that’s when Her Path to Purpose was born.

The vision of Her Path to Purpose is to see young women discovering their passion, striving to achieve their purpose and growing in confidence. We believe this support is imperative as it will lead to better decision making and overall well being for many young women. In addition to this many young women experience disadvantage through no fault of their own. As a result, they do not have access to the training, support and opportunities that they desperately need to reach their full potential. I believe that empowering young women and promoting the equality of opportunities is key to transforming communities.
